Half Bads in White Regalia

Cody Caetano’s memoir, Half-Bads in White Regalia, is an incredibly intense account of his traumatic childhood. His Anishinaabe mother was taken from her family in the Sixties Scoop and his Portuguese father dealt with childhood physical abuse. The resulting family that Cody found himself in was destined for heartbreak.

Hear Cody Caetano speak about and read from his Half Bads in White Regalia as part of the Owen Sound Memoir Series on Friday April 19. This memoir won the 2023 Indigenous Voices Award for Best Published Prose.

On Saturday April 20 he will lead a memoir writing workshop.
