Queens Bush Bluegrass Club – Spring Grass Concert

For nearly a quarter century, the Queen’s Bush Bluegrass Club has hosted concerts and musical events from our home base in Owen Sound. We honour local musicians by featuring their craft before every headliner. Our Club’s Mission Statement: “Promoting the Continuance and Development of Bluegrass Music in our Community”. Proudly presenting our Local Openers, the fabulous HUMMINGBYRDS. Sensational guitarist Jayden Grahlman is joined by Jolie Anastasia-guitar & Raven Cousin–mandolin. Together they make some Sweet Harmonies. The Hummingbyrds have gathered quite a following along Southern Georgian Bay. And… featuring one of Canada’s premier bluegrass bands, STONEY LONESOME in concert. Nick McDonald-Mandolin/Vocals. An award-winning mandolin player and songwriter, and a long-time bluegrass musician, Nick is a veteran of the Ontario bluegrass music scene. Nick has a history of playing with such shady characters as the Traditionally Wound, Hard Ryde and McDonald Bluegrass. Nick is joined by Justin McDonald-Guitar/Vocals. Luke Puckrin-Banjo/Vocals. Sheila Roberts-McDonald-Violin/Vocals. Jeff McDonald-Bass. And Shelly McDonald-Guest Vocals.
